“I worked three jobs in New Jersey, not all at the same time. At first, I was a substitute custodian for Evesham School District, cleaning usually classrooms and bathrooms. I also worked at a local Dunkin Donuts near my home. Finally, I worked at XL Sports World in Medford, New Jersey, as a coach teaching kids from the age of 3 and 5 basketball and soccer,” said Marcus.

His hobbies included playing sports, especially basketball and volleyball with his friends. He also plays piano, guitar, oboe, and more.

“I love to draw and help my dad with woodworking projects. I used to help cantor at St. Barnabas parish in Philadelphia a few times a week playing the guitar and singing for mass,” said Marcus.

“Since the beginning, I noticed that Marcus is a very intelligent young man, very attentive in class and very studious. He is obviously motivated by a genuine love for the Lord, as he is studying to pursue the priesthood.,” Fr. Emilio Franchomme, Latin Professor, St. John Vianney Theological Seminary.
